WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR THE JOB:

• Performing various HVAC install related jobs on our commercial sites.
• Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines including proper brazing skills.
• Proficient at most duct system installations from equipment through final GRDs.
• Capable of looking ahead and creating a material and work force plan for a particular area of work.
• Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Oversee, work with and provide direction for fellow colleagues as needed.
• Continuously represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Three or more years of experience specific to the commercial HVAC industry; residential type equipment utilized as well on commercial projects.
• EPA/OSHA certifications beneficial but not required.
• Clear knowledge and understanding of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning requirements and operations, including proper equipment startups.
• Supervise and participate in the installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems to ensure that the work performed is in compliance with blueprints, manufacturer specifications and written and/or verbal instruction.
• Plan and assign work to ensure proper distribution of work with newer team members to the trade, for efficient performance of duties at each job site.
• Ability to identify costly deviations from the plans and bring them to the attention of the project manager.
• Ability to work with other trades and communicate and coordinate conflicts.
• Ability to perform all trade-related math calculations for proper installation of equipment
• Must possess the ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications and submittal sheets
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift heavy objects.
• General understanding of OSHA regulations.
• Operating knowledge of HVAC systems and efficient use of hand tools.
• Basic understanding of installation, HVAC systems, and operating basic control systems.
• Clean driving record.
